Los Angeles’ Marina is one of the best places to bring your friends and family to ring in the new year. The annual GLOW party and New Year’s Eve Fireworks show in the Marina is a free, family-friendly event.

Head to Burton Chace Park for the GLOW party, starting the celebration with live entertainment, face painting, food trucks, and more. The highlight? 10-minute fireworks show after the East Coast and West Coast countdown (8:59 p.m. and 11:59 p.m.)

There are numerous great spots to catch the fireworks which include Fisherman’s Village, South Jetty, and North Jetty. If you prefer a cozy spot with a meal, check out SALT, Killer Shrimp, Tony P’s Dockside Grill, El Torito, and Whiskey Red’s.

Countdown NYE

Usher in the New Year in a style that’s nothing short of spectacular at Countdown. Join thousands of party-goers at San Bernardino’s NOS Events Center for a two-day (December 30th and December 31st) party featuring big names like deadmau5, Tiësto, and Porter Robinson, plus 89 more acts.

N.Y.E.L.A. Countdown to 2024

Gloria Molina Grand Park’s N.Y.E.L.A. Countdown to 2024 is the city’s go-to gathering place and the flagship New Year’s Eve celebration on the West Coast. It’s Los Angeles’ biggest free party which brings together locals and visitors from around the world.

The signature 3D countdown art show of the park projected onto the city’s renowned City Hall guides merrymakers into 2024. The night’s beats are courtesy of La Doña, LaVerdad, and so much more. Additionally, the park will showcase captivating art and photo installations.

With 30 of Los Angeles’ favorite food trucks lining the venue, your taste buds are in for a treat. But heads up, it’s a no-alcohol zone – no booze for sale, so plan accordingly.

Forever Midnight

Forever Midnight, Insomniac Events’ newest New Year’s Eve festival series, will light up the LA Convention Center on December 30th and 31st. This 21+ bash promises a night to remember with two stages and top-notch music artists like Solomun, Eric Prydz, Jamie xx, The Martinez Brothers, Kaskade (Redux), and more.

Doors open at 4:00 p.m. and the party rocks on until 2 a.m. each day. General Admission tickets range from $129.99 to $219.99 and this includes access to the bar, water refill stations, and food and beverage options.

EVE at Universal Studios Hollywood

Universal Studios Hollywood’s EVE event is Hollywood’s biggest New Year’s Eve celebration. Fill your day with heart-pounding rides, attractions, and shows, and then keep the thrill going until 2 a.m.

Dance the night away at multiple live entertainment areas and gather with loved ones for a special countdown to midnight. Watch the sky light up with a dazzling display of fireworks from various spots on the upper and lower lot. Don’t forget to snap some photos at EVE-themed photo spots throughout the park.

At each party area, you can enjoy an assortment of specialty cocktails, wine, beer, and champagne available for purchase. Please note that select rides and attractions will close early during the event. Admission is included in your Theme Park Ticket (1-day GA costs $154 and Universal Express costs $309) or Platinum Annual Pass valid on December 31, 2023.

L.A. Noir New Year’s Eve

The Biltmore’s L.A. Noir New Year’s Eve celebration presents the glamour of a bygone era. This event allows you to usher in the new year while experiencing a night steeped in the essence of 1920s Los Angeles.

The Crystal Stage, one of its three stages of entertainment, presents a lavish night of performances, live music, dancing, and a midnight countdown. The Gold Room is another stage that features a hidden authentic 1923 speakeasy tunnel allowing you to explore the Prohibition-era stories and artifacts from the Biltmore. If you prefer a calmer environment, check out the Deco Lounge where you can relax with your friends and enjoy retro-style live radio plays and musical guests until midnight.

Prohibition NYE

Prohibition NYE is going strong for its 10th year as it returns to the iconic Union Station. Bringing back the glamour and excitement of the Roaring Twenties, this New Year’s Eve bash offers an evening of opulence as we bid adieu to the old and welcome the new.

The event features captivating burlesque performances from the famed Concrete Entertainment, jazz ensembles from Lyndsay & the All-Nighters, and a headlining set from world-renowned duo Chromeo. On top of that, there’s also the event’s signature 60-foot midnight ball-drop celebration and a premium open bar flowing with champagne and specialty cocktails.

Formal, Roaring Twenties attire (flapper dresses, tuxedos, top hats, feathered headbands, and spats) is encouraged. The event starts at 9 p.m. until 2 a.m. General admission tickets are priced at $195 which includes access to full open-bar.
